When you think food capitals of the US, you probably think New York and Los Angeles, well, think again. The Chicago Tribune put together a list of the top 10 food destinations in the USA, and we think you’ll be surprised to find which cities made the list. Charleston, South Carolina made it for their take on the southern classic: shrimp and grits. Even more surprising – Portland, Oregon made number one, rising to the top with its bakeries, superb wine and yummy coffee.
