Biking NYC is breathtaking. The lower West Side ride has a perfect view of the new World Trade Center. The Manhattan Borough Bridge offers the fastest (pedestrian-free) crossing and the best view of the East River. Cycling in Dumbo feels like the set of Superman’s Gotham with the Brooklyn Bridge looming over you. Biking up over the Henry Hudson Bridge to Riverdale feels like a trip through a Thomas Cole paining. My favorite is biking to the Williamsburg Diner to grab a drink outside, under the bridge (but when I drink, hop the subway home).
