Buffalo Wild Wings has long been one of the premier places to watch sports, and now they’re trying to drive that point home further, unveiling a variety of tactics centered around this year’s March Madness tournament.
B-Dubs has dropped several new spots ahead of this year’s edition of the tournament. One encourages us to get together and watch the game like our “fancestors” did, instead of watching alone on our phones or on our couches. It’s a direct counter against other brands and services that market the ability to watch the games from anywhere.
Another spot points to the frustration of having games interrupted by poorly-timed buffer issues. All of these new spots end with a simple but effective tagline: “Buffalo Wild Wings. Roar.”
And the brand isn’t stopping there on its mission to get viewers into their restaurants. In their most bold move, Buffalo Wild Wings has created “Jewel Stools” in a few locations. These seats are designed to be comfortable for men who planned vasectomies during the tournament, so that they can still come out and watch the game. Obviously, the idea is more for attention than practicality… but if nothing else, it’s clever.
Where will you be watching the games this year?
