Faris Yakob shared his fascinating perspective of time and distance with FastCompany.com and we thought it was worth passing on. In his interview, Yakob tells us that perception of time is a function of how much work our brain is doing processing stimuli. The more new stimuli it has to deal with, the more processing it has to do, the longer that period of time feels, thus time slows down. Yakob goes on to discuss the effects travel and routine have on the brain. Pretty interesting stuff. Check it out.
