ChronArte Clocks Bring Forth The Wacky

February 6, 2007

quadro wall clockChronArte Quadro wall clock uses colored textile bands which build up over time to form a colored face. After 12 hours when it is completely colored, it changes back into a white square. The clock is radio-controlled and changes automatically from standard to daylight-saving time. Each one is produced in Switzerland and is a numbered piece. ChronArte also makes the Canna, a wall with a liquid display of colored water and the Filo, a column clock which fills with color showing how the minutes, hours or days pass. The Quadro sells for $4650.
