Orange Vanilla Coke? That’s already old news. By the end of 2019, the beverage giant will be releasing a new Coca-Cola Coffee beverage.
The drink intends to offer a middle ground between caffeinated sodas and coffee for when consumers need a late-afternoon pick-me-up. Coca-Cola Coffee will feature more caffeine than a standard soda but slightly less than a cup of coffee – and, perhaps most importantly, less sugar than a regular Coke.
Coca-Cola hopes to capitalize on recent trends away from sugary drinks and towards pre-bottled, cold coffee drinks. The drink will hit the shelves in over 25 markets around the globe by the time 2020 rolls around.
They seem confident that Coca-Cola Coffee will be a success. We’re willing to give it a try!
