Fiready: A Tale of Marketing a Log

FirewoodOne of our Trend Extenders was recently filling up their gas tank when they happened upon a most interesting retail display. Not for soda, candy or chips, but for firewood. Printed, in well reproduced four-color, is the romantic setting of silhouettes settled by a warm, glowing fire. The idea of buying a pre-bundled, single serving sized bag of wood in nothing new, but to actually take the time to brand it and promote it is. Fiready even has a website where they offer wood packages for every occasions. Among the packages is the “Fiready Party” and the “Fiready Cozy”.  Reading Fireadys product advantage is a lesson in selling the invisible. It is wonderfully written, but says little. Even so it is worth a look.
