Nick D’Aloisio created Trimit, an app that condenses text into 1000, 500, or 140-character summaries. Trimit was Apple’s #1 staff favorite in 100 countries. Give it a try; we here at Milk* think it’s pretty cool. Nick went on to build Summly, a further step in information condensing technology for better reading on smart phones; but you won’t find Summly in the App store, Yahoo acquired the technology for millions and is reported to be integrating the technology into a future venture.
