iPhone 7 Not Perfect, But Growing Up

September 30, 2016

There’s a new iPhone on the streets, which means a new Apple product to rip apart and ask ourselves how we ever survived without it. Apple gives us the iPhone 7 (and 7Plus), the newest additions to the iconic smartphone. The iPhone 7 sparks a few notable changes that have dominated the new product’s launch. The iPhone has vastly improved on its speed, camera sharpness, and battery life. The durability of this phone greatly surpasses its predecessor and cosmetically looks time relevant with a new virtual home button – all positive improvements. So far so good? Well…not so fast. Apple has removed the headphone jack and the verdict is still not in on how we all feel about it. Retiring the audio jack allows the iPhone to be water-resistant (thank goodness!) and user-friendly to an audio accessory. The premiere of the AirPods was a direction Apple needed to go sooner rather than later to stay innovative, marketable, and conversational. Those who upgrade on a regular basis will love the iPhone 7 and those who upgrade only when necessary will have a harder transition, but hey it’s better than the Galaxy Note7 right?
