You know him as a rapper, singer, songwriter, and actor. But do you know 21-year old Jaden Smith as an entrepreneur? You may want to get used to the sound of that, as Smith recently announced he wants to “switch professions” and become a full-time inventor.
Smith is the founder behind JUST Water, flavorful spring water that comes in 100% recyclable cartons. He believes he excels better in this industry, and it is true that his business has been getting more attention than his most-recent album.
In a recent interview, Smith mentioned Elon Musk as an idol of his, claiming he is “not gonna stop until [he’s] like Elon Musk.” Building on his water brand, Smith has also given back to the community by working to provide clean water for Flint, Michigan and setting up a pop-up food truck in Los Angeles for the homeless.
Additionally, announcements were made that JUST Water will replace 19,000 plastic bottles at London’s ASICS 10k race this upcoming weekend. Things seem to be taking off for Smith, and one may wonder what he will do next. I guess we will JUST have to wait and see.
