Over the past few months, Lil Tay has been the talk of the Internet. The self-proclaimed “youngest flexer of the century”, the nine-year old has posted videos using vulgar vocabulary while flaunting her supposed wealth in expensive cars surrounded with stacks of cash. This behavior caught the attention of the public eye, and soon she found herself with over 2 million followers on Instagram. Recently though, the truth behind this bizarre situation was revealed. Behind the scenes footage leaked revealed her 16-year-old brother, Jason Tian, directing Lil Tay in ways that seemed obviously out of her comfort zone. Lil Tay looked seriously upset when asked to repeat what her brother was prompting her to say. Which begs the questions, how did these siblings get these fancy cars, houses, and wads of money as props for their videos? This is where Angela Tian – Lil Tay’s mother – comes in. Lil Tay was able to use her mother’s extravagant real estate connections to ‘flex’ in homes that did not belong to the Tians. Angela additionally let Lil Tay to use her boss’s car to film a series of inappropriate videos; casting a poor reflection on her mother’s employer causing her to lose her job. Both Angela and Jason have manipulated Lil Tay into becoming a viral spectacle. They created a monster out of their youngest, most innocent family member, and must come face the consequences head on.
