At a time when the coronavirus pandemic has turned a face mask into a necessity, the NBA is jumping into the market. The league recently announced that it has teamed up with Fanatics to launch a line of cloth face coverings, featuring logos and designs for all 30 NBA and 12 WNBA teams. All of the league proceeds from the sales will be donated to Feed America in the United States and Second Harvest in Canada. It is the latest effort by the NBA to try and make a positive difference amid the pandemic. Many of its players and teams have already donated money towards the coronavirus relief and the league’s players and coaches have demonstrated on social media the importance of social distancing. It doesn’t matter who you are or what you do, we are all hands in.
