Every man has his preference. Sometimes we decide to switch it up, but more often than not, we feel more comfortable with one option than the other. Recently, The Wall Street Journal came out with a piece that explores the positives and negatives to each side of the dress shirt delema. Essentially, it boils down to personal preference, unless you work in an office where a suit and tie are the norm (but really, those are getting less and less common). So, if you’re the one-button-undone-only type of guy, take a day and let your freak flag fly. Undo the next button. Your colleagues will look at you with a newfound respect. They’ll say, hey, look at John! He’s totally rocking that business cas. look. He must be a confident guy, let’s give him a promotion and his own office (you know, the kind with a door). Or maybe they won’t, who really knows, it’s just a button. |
