Last week, Nissan gave the world a sneak peek at what could be an amazing innovation in the automotive category: The ‘Self-Cleaning’ Vehicle. The carmaker is experimenting with super-hydrophobic paint called Ultra-Ever Dry, an extremely water and oil resistant technology that creates a protective layer of air between the paint and the environment. Nissan said the testing has “responded well” to many weather conditions. While there is no current plan to offer Ultra-Ever Dry to consumers, it’s nice to know Nissan is looking to keep us looking good.
