Yes, even I’m surprised to say Shakespeare. I have battled a life-long fear that those classic plays and yet each time I go I fall in love. It happened again just recently. My partner got tickets for Richard III. I thought, oh, no. Hours of inaccessible dialog, complicated history and one really mean guy makes for a dull evening, but boy was I wrong. I was captivated from the very start. The twists were surprising at every turn. The characters were truly dimensional and yes, one really good mean guy.
