The Fourth of July is right around the corner and it’s time to plan your BBQs. Corn, burgers, steamers and lots of vino. Why not try Saint AIX Rosé from Provence ($24). It’s a great food wine, perfect with seafood, chicken and leisurely summer lunches. Next there’s Eyrie Vineyards’ Pinot Blanc from Oregon ($16), a crisp mineral-y refresher perfect for post beach relaxation. Then there are the Riojas. Spain’s smooth, full-bodied wines that can be red or white. When firing up the grill, I choose my latest favorite red, El Coto de Rioja Crianza ($12). It pairs perfectly with beef or lamb. It’s full and smooth enough for those perfect summer evening. Have we left you wanting more, checkout these five summer recos courtesy of the Washington Post.
