Tiffany Shlain is an award-winning filmmaker, speaker, and founder of The Webby Awards. Like many of us, Tiffany is obsessed with technology and loves getting lost in the info overload found in cyber space. Three years ago, when Tiffany was faced with her father’s illness, she realized technology was distracting her from some of the most meaningful moments of her life. It was then she and her family decided to unplug for one full day every week. They call it their “Technology Shabbats” and they’ve been in observance for over three years.
