The Apple Computer Turns 30

It’s safe to say all of us here at milk* are crazy for Apple. As users, we love the design, the functionality and the constant innovation. But as brand experts we’re crazy in love with Apple’s brand identity. It’s amazing to think that today marks 30 years since the January 22, 1984 airing of the “Nineteen Eighty Four” inspired Macintosh commercial directed by Ridley Scott. The breakthrough commercial (forgive the pun) ushered in the perfect articulation of Apple’s brand identity, one that continues along the same lines three decades later.
