Wow. That’s all we have to say. We’ve listened to this at least 40 times since we got it and…”WOW“. You know, lately there has been great music coming from across the pond. Download this powerful and expressive album and bask in the alternative British glory. This is the band’s second album and it was recorded at Ray Davies’ Konk studios for which the album is named. But the band manages to go beyond the obvious Kinks influence and craft songs that are even ahead of adrenaline-packed peers like the Strokes. Opening tracks like “See the Sun,” and “Do You Wanna,” showcase the band’s spirit, while later acoustic-based tunes like “Love it All,” and “Sway” show the band has a lot of depth as well.
