Yep, you heard right, space geeks; Disney recently announced plans to create “Star Wars Land” in their Orlando, Florida and Anaheim, California amusement parks. Each park will receive a 14-acre expansion that promises to transport guests to a jaw-dropping new planet right out of the Star Wars movie series. Disney isn’t breaking ground until 2017, but we’re sure the “Imagineers” are feeling a lot of pressure to come up with amazing rides that will meet the high expectations of hard-core Star Wars fans. Disney hasn’t given away many secrets, but they have disclosed plans for a ride that will let you channel your inner Han Solo and fly the Millennium Falcon yourself!
