Ever dream of traveling on a grand ocean-liner like the Titanic? We’re thinking without the iceberg. How about with the iceberg? Then your next stop might be China, where a full-scale replica of the ship is being built. The $165 million dollar project will be the star attraction of a theme park in Daying County of Sichuan Province. An investment company will use the blueprints of the Titanic’s sister ship, the Olympic, to construct the replica. “When the ship hits the iceberg, it will shake, it will tumble,” said Su Shaojun, chief executive of Seven Star Energy Investment. “We will let people experience water coming in by using sound and light effects. They will think, ‘The water will drown me; I must escape with my life.'” Sounds fun? Start saving, 2016 is right around the corner.
