The Women’s World Cup is well underway in France, and the U.S. Women’s National Team has already made its presence known. They won their first three games of the tournament, scoring 18 total goals without giving up a single one.
The U.S. domination thus far has featured five goals by Alex Morgan, the team’s leading scorer so far and one of the most famous members of the team. Stars Rose Lavelle, Carli Lloyd, and Megan Rapinoe have also combined for six goals.
Nike dropped an inspirational spot prior to the start of the tournament that featured members of the team (and WNBA stars) and shed light on the incredible talents of female athletes. You can bet that as the U.S. team gets closer to its repeat title, more and more brands will get behind them.
No matter what the final result, it’ll be a fun ride to follow these next few weeks!
