This past weekend, the 2018 Wimbledon tennis tournament drew to a close with two explosive final matches for men and women’s singles. For the ladies, new mother Serena Williams fell just short of yet another Wimbledon title in her amazing match against Germany’s Angelique Kerber 6-3, 6-3. The next day, Serbia’s Novak Djokovic overtook South African Kevin Anderson in the men’s singles finals. Anderson came into the match fresh off of an amazing victory of a six hour match the previous day! These two matches concluded the tournament and marked the end of yet another successful year of tennis at Wimbledon, which has been holding this prestigious tennis tournament for over one hundred years. After the victors were presented with their trophies, the players, coaches, families, fans, and more gathered for a celebration of the two winners and the athleticism and endurance of all of the players involved. This year, Djokovic and Kerber took the stage and much to the delight of onlookers began to partake in an adorable victory dance. This show of excitement brought cheers from the crowd and after the clip was published all over social media the whole world began to show their support with thousands of likes and comments pointing out the champions stellar dance moves! The dance clip was the perfect end to a high stress tournament for these two incredible athletes and their supporters.
