Post-Concert Amnesia?
On June 1, the BBC reported that Taylor Swift fans have been experience what they called “post-concert amnesia” – and psychologist believe it’s real! After shows on her Eras Tour, tons of Swifties took it to social media to share their stories of guilt in not remembering moments of the show. According to Dr. Michelle Phillips, a music psychologist, when fans are so excited and immersed in the show performance, they are unable to process their experience properly.

Live Nation and Ticketmaster’s Toxic Relationship With America
In November of 2022, the internet erupted in a frenzy as millions of “Swifties” became enraged for being shut out of ticket purchases for Taylor Swift’s upcoming tour – with prices reaching $499 face value, and an astronomical $28,000 resale price. Unsurprisingly to many, that actually is a common occurrence, thanks to Ticketmaster – and in recent years, it’s a problem that has seemingly only gotten worse.
